~Your Safari Adventure ~

Your safari day in Wilpattu starts early at 6:30 AM and takes you on an unforgettable journey through one of Sri Lanka’s largest and most pristine wildlife reserves. From the morning, you’ll have the chance to spot majestic leopards, sloth bears, and a variety of deer, while colorful birds like peacocks, kingfishers, and eagles fill the skies. As the day unfolds, you can explore serene water bodies, forested landscapes, and the park’s famous natural lakes, or “Willus,” where animals often gather. After a midday break to rest and refresh, the afternoon safari continues with opportunities to see crocodiles, wild boar, and monitor lizards. “If you are visiting Wilpattu, look no further than Wilpattu Leopard Gate. From the moment of booking to the final drop-off, everything was seamless and professional.

Our guide was a true expert—his ability to track leopard prints and listen to the jungle’s ‘alarm calls’ was incredible. Thanks to his skills, we had an exclusive, peaceful sighting of a leopard without the crowds you find in other parks. We also saw elephants, sloth bears, and beautiful birds.

The jeep was comfortable, the breakfast was delicious, and the passion the team has for wildlife is inspiring. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a real, high-quality safari adventure. Worth every rupee!”
